LMFAO will join Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Florence and the Machine on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve! MTV News reports that the pop duo Redfoo and SkyBlu will perform at the 40th annual New Year’s bash held in Times Square, New York City. The show will be hosted Ryan Seacrest, Fergi and Jenny McCarthy, and will air live on ABC from 8 pm until after midnight on Saturday, December 31.
The new LMFAO songs from their hit pop album Sorry For Party Rocking will be perfect for a rockin’ New Year’s Eve celebration. Just look at the LMFAO lyrics for “Party Rock Anthem” – “Party rock is in da house tonight \ Everybody just have a good time \ And we gonna make you lose your mind \ Everybody just have a good time.” SkyBlu said in a recent interview with Shave Magazine, “These songs are tools to rock a party.” He added, “I recommend using the Party Rock album as a tool to get laid, because it attracts women. It's like we have tackle, we made some shiny tackle, and you take it and throw it out there and use it.” You know you’re big when your songs get performed on Glee! The December 6 Glee episode “Hold On to Sixteen” featured the best LMFAO lyrics from “Party Rock Anthem.”
The song has also been nominated for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Song of the Year and Favorite Music Video. You can check out new LMFAO songs when the band releases their third pop album in early 2012. They’ve been in the studio recording when they’re not busy touring; “We just announced the Party Rock tour with Paradiso Girls, Dj SpaceCowboy and FM,” SkyBlu said. “It's gonna be in the States, but before that we're going to Australia with the Black Eyed Peas.” You can also follow LMFAO on Twitter for more updates!
