TuneWiki FAQ

  • Q: Why should I register and login?
A: To allow social interaction the system needs to know who you are. On our web site, as a logged user you can have your own shout wall, can permit friends to know what you are listening to, and soon you will be able to have a widget on facebook, iGoogle, MyAOL and other services that shows your friends in real time what music you are playing - real time (correct to a line of lyrics).
  • Q: I tried to login but am getting an error message that the servers are not available, what gives?
A: Make sure that your phone has a data plan and is actively connected to the network and try again. If you still experience the problem, contact us at our community support forums.
  • Q: Lyrics for a song I am playing are not scrolling in the right timing, why?
A: Lyrics synchronization is done by users like you, and not everyone has the exact same version of song, on most phones you can simply choose "re-sync" from the menu and contribute your version to the synchronization, the community and TuneWiki will thank you.
  • Q: Some songs I play have no lyrics or the wrong lyrics, why? How can I get them on there?
A: As with the synchronization, lyrics are also community contributions, in order to add or edit lyrics to our service you need to login to tunewiki.com. From there you can load new lyrics. Note that editing requires special permissions, apply to be a TuneWiki editor in the Apply for Editorship section of our community support forums.
